Camera systems
Network cameras represent an experienced technology that makes it possible to fully use analogue systems while obtaining numerous functions and benefits coming along with a digital technology. The list of the most important ones follows:
System that grows with your needs
There are no obstructions preventing an extension of a once-designed system. Additional network cameras can be very easily and promptly added, one by one. On average it takes only a couple of minutes to install a camera from it unpacking till it starts working.
Access to live images anytime, anyplace
In any given moment you may access live camera transmission and that from any computer connected to a network. Broadcasted images can be saved to dislocated workplace for security reasons and data can be transmitted either via LAN or the Internet. That means that even small companies with small dislocated branches may effectively use cameras solution based on the IP protocol for their security and surveillance purposes.
Save expenses at purchasing and maintenance
Purchase of the system of network cameras is financially very effective in many aspects. Building up on the existing cable structures leads to reduced purchasing costs. The situation is similar regarding the running costs. A network camera consists of fewer parts that needs to be replaced than traditional analogue system. Transmitted pictures are usually saved on hard disks in the computers (or CD, DVD or tapes), which is more comfortable and less expensive than old-fashioned VCR and VCR tapes.
Camera may be placed anywhere
There are virtually no limits when it comes to camera's placement. You may deploy a camera to your corporate network using UTP cable, using wireless connection, via ADSL line, dial-up modem connection (at specific times camera dials out connection, sends the latest pictures and automatically hangs up) or even via cellular phone. To put it simply, wherever you are able to make a call from you cellular phone, you will also be able to receive pictures from network cameras.
From miniature to remotely controlled
For security reasons you can use miniature cameras that are specifically designed for mounting below the facade surface. Their dimensions (22 x 26 mm) make them practically invisible. For monitoring of the premises the camera needs a pin hole with only 1 mm in diameter. Should you need a more sophisticated surveillance system, you might be fully satisfied with cameras capable of pan, tilt and zoom functions. All network cameras transmit fully colored pictures and some of them are also equipped with motion detection sensor.
